Never trust a man that wears different colored rubber gloves 😂😂 It looks really good
❤
I love the beautiful results! But I see the MSDS for potassium dichromate shows it is extremely toxic stuff. So I’ll definitely use gloves and I’ll work outside to make sure I don’t inhale any powder. Only concern I have is I didn’t see how you removed this toxic chemical from the stock after treatment. Did you wash it down with soapy water, or did you just encapsulate under your finish? Thanks for the great video
Just did the same thing and cut several hundred patches. Took longer to make the cutter than it did to cut the patches!
I do have 3 lbs trigger springs on that lower
I have used your method and it works great. Have you found a way to balance such a spinner without the front center hole? Thank you!
I ordered the potassium dichromate from Walmart. It was about $10
Thank you very much. I appreciate this. You shared some great information. I saw your Woodsrunner posted on the forum. I never really considered a cherry stock. After seeing your video, it is now a thought in my mund. The gun is beautiful, by the way, job well done. Thanks again. Gum

Great tip!
this is the most cost effective and simplest aproach to building a wet tumbler. TU..but why such an angle
Ingenious! Well done too. I might just try this method.
smooth
Your method uses less extra stuff like glue, hairspray, cheap poly fil. Other poly is much more expensive .
I just got a goose is they any way you can make a video of putting sound on it
Great to hear using scale measurements, almost none of the quarter scale are quarter scale, just marketing device.
Hi Landrel. Just wondering if you are going to knock out any further model railway posts?

Why not use the casing for the bottom for the wing to sit in when applying weight?
Awesome
I have visited commercial black powder mills. There is a few with very long history in europe. Swiss Powder uses " Faulbaum" (Rhamnus frangula) for charcoal. Apparently that has massive impacts on the powders performance. So much so that in german that tree is also known as "Shootingberry" or "Powderwood". Regular willow tree is supposed to work almost as good. If you ever get a chance to see one of those mills, do it. Its incredible to see.
I got that at Walmart. Is 0.18 to 0.20 thick, about $6 yd
What pillow ticking is that and where do you get yours?
How can this be done without using an electric tumbler, after all might need to make some powder when there is no electricity available. Thanks
It can be done with a mortar and pistol but it takes forever. The finer the powder the better.
I don't think it will work the same
Have you ever tried ACTIVATED CHARCOAL?? It is already a dust and can be a little messy. Most chemical suppliers carry it.
Activated Charcoal is made at extremely high temps which strips away most volatiles in the material. This is true of barbeque briquettes too, but with the down side of added chemicals and binders. Making your own charcoal is easy to do, and if done at relatively low temps (400 - 500 degrees c), will yield extremely fast burning bp.
Great video!!!
Thanks
